One of the biggest draws is Kenny G: The Miracles Holiday & Hits Tour, set for Thursday, Dec. 11 at the State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick. With over 75 million records sold worldwide, Kenny G’s smooth jazz stylings have become synonymous with the holiday season. Families looking for a more traditional seasonal concert may want to visit Plainsboro. The Brass Classics & Carols Concert will take place on Friday, Dec. 12 at Community Middle School. Hosted by the Princeton Symphonic Brass, this annual event features carols, classic Christmas arrangements, Hanukkah selections, and other winter favorites. It’s designed to be accessible and fun for attendees of all ages.

In Red Bank, vocalist Sal Valentinetti brings a touch of old-school charm to the season. Sal Valentinetti: Christmas Comes To Town will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14 at The Vogel on the Basie Center campus. Also on Sunday, Dec. 14, Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church in Bernards will host its annual Christmas Concert. Featuring music from around the world, this event highlights a variety of seasonal traditions and offers a reflective, family-friendly atmosphere for celebrating the holidays.

Later in the month, one of the most high-energy holiday shows arrives in Newark. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings its fan-favorite production, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO and More”, to the Prudential Center on Friday, Dec. 19. Known for elaborate light shows, rock-orchestral arrangements, and emotionally charged storytelling, this performance is expected to be one of New Jersey’s most memorable holiday events.

Red Bank will also host another major seasonal performance as the Monmouth Civic Chorus presents “A Joyous Day”on Sunday, Dec. 21 at the Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre. Closing out the month is a celebration of New Jersey’s vibrant music scene. The “What A Wonderful Year” Music Festival will take place on Saturday, Dec. 27 and Sunday, Dec. 28 at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. Ten bands will alternate between two stages across two nights, showcasing local talent while raising funds for area non-profit organizations.
