Beyoncé adds yet another N.J. concert to tour, breaks MetLife Stadium record

Beyoncé has added a record-breaking fifth show at MetLife Stadium, making history as the first artist to perform five times in a single tour run at the venue.

The global superstar announced late Wednesday that she will perform on May 29 as part of her highly anticipated “Cowboy Carter Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour.” The new date joins the previously scheduled May 22, 24, 25, and 28 performances at the East Rutherford stadium.

Ticket presales conclude on Thursday, with general sales opening Friday, Feb. 14, at 12 p.m. via Ticketmaster.

The additional show officially surpasses the previous MetLife Stadium record, which was held by Bon Jovi, who performed four consecutive shows when the stadium first opened in 2010.

This announcement follows Beyoncé’s recent Los Angeles tour expansion, where she set a similar record at SoFi Stadium with five consecutive performances—the most by any artist at the venue during a single tour.
